MGSWLA Children’s Day is coming to the Lake Charles Event Center on Sunday, February 7, 2027.

Join us from 11 :00 am– 1:00 pm for FREE family fun, crafts, treats, and photos with Gumbeaux Gator. Quiet Zone available 10:30 am – 11 am — bring your littles and let the good times roll!

MGSWLA Children’s Day is a family-friendly Mardi Gras celebration designed just for kids! Bring your little ones to the Lake Charles Event Center on Sunday, February 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for an afternoon full of fun, creativity, and smiles. A Quiet Zone will be available from 10:30–11:00 a.m. to ensure a welcoming environment for all children.

This free-admission event features a variety of hands-on activities, including face painting, paper mask decorating, cookie decorating, balloon tying, and line dance lessons. Families will also have the chance to take photos with Gumbeaux Gator, making it a perfect memory-making experience during Mardi Gras season.
